Pierre-Mary also used this opportunity to indulge his life-long love of classic cars, promoting one of his earliest classic car shows in 1999: a range of iconic BMW 3 Series cars to celebrate 60 years since the launch of the brand.

Hotel Industry
Ibis Accor Château-Thierry
In 1989, he also made his first foray into the hotel industry, opening the Ibis Accor Château-Thierry at Essômes Sur Marne. This hotel featured 55 rooms, a 200-seat restaurant, and a prestigious location amongst champagne vineyards.
This hotel also offered him the opportunity to enter the art world, hosting several exhibitions including a retrospective on Modern Art of the 20th Century supported by the French Minister of Culture, Frederic Mitterand.
Since then, Pierre-Mary has remained active in the French art community. He was appointed by Noel Coret, President of the Salon d’Automne de Paris, as a key supporter of this historic organization.
Bachelet Holdings
Pierre-Mary has remained active in the hotel sector up to the present day and recently created several pioneering hotel concepts, including the Kispace Hotel next to Disneyland Paris. His company, Bachelet Holdings, has also been active in the commercial property sector since 2008, using land Pierre-Mary acquired through his other business ventures. In the mid-2010s, he creatively utilized this land to build several shopping centers in Northeast France.
One shopping center was built on six acres of land next to the Ibis Château-Thierry, whilst others were constructed on 20 acres of land near Bachelet dealerships in Laon and Soissons. These centers were consciously built with sustainability and local issues in mind; the Portes de Soissons center alone provided employment for more than 450 local people and over 20 local businesses.
